I wanted to share with you who I am, exactly what Style Coaching™ beliefs I have and why I do what I do.
My name is Claire Welch-beasley and I am a creative stylist and a Style Coach™ and I help the LGBT community, realise that their style is there super power.
So what do I mean by that?
Have you ever been called out for being different? Ever been told you that you’re weird, strange or odd? I’m with you!
And I am here to tell you that’s okay! Different, unique, quirky, strange, weird, odd, whatever you want to call it, that is what we should aim to be! For some crazy reason, we’ve all come to believe that being different is a bad thing, when actually it’s the most authentic you can be.
Because we are ALL unique individuals, every single one of us, we all think differently, have different likes and dislikes, different tastes, different tastes in relationships, different choice of car or a house. Different jobs, different religions, different foods, the list could go on. And that is because every single person on this planet is completely, incomparable to anyone other. We are as unique as our fingerprints.
Therefore, we will never all agree on what looks good or what doesn’t, what clothing style works for one person, but completely against another. We will never all agree. So instead of copying everyone else and wearing what everyone else is wearing, we need to focus on being happy within ourselves, and if that includes wearing a sequin dress to Tesco’s, then wear that sequin dress to Tesco’s.
Why do we feel this intense need to fit in and dress or act like everyone else, just to please everyone else?
In reality, people are so caught up in their own lives and their own bubbles that they barely pay any attention at all, and if they do, it’s often because they are envious of your authenticity.
It’s time to STOP worrying about not having the latest coat or latest shoe trend. It’s time to focus on your inner happiness and success.
As a Style Coach™, I can guide you on your journey to discovering and becoming the most authentic versions of yourself, through holistic style and confidence coaching.
As a proud member of the LGBT community myself, and a mental health warrior, I understand the struggles of judgement from others, finding your identity and also the struggles with being confident in who you are.
So how can I help you?
First of all, fear no judgement, I am only here to help.
I have taken all the skills I have learnt from years of therapy sessions, my style coaching™ diploma, my obsession with clothing and my deep desire to help my clients build their confidence levels. And I have created ONE badass transformational programme that runs for 6 months.
My programme has been structured to set you up for success! Your 6 month journey will take you from where you are right now, all the way to your end goal of gaining style confidence.
I designed the programme to get you to your end goal in 6 months, because I believe that is the perfect amount of time to help you discover your true authentic self and leave you with confidence building skills. Style Coaching™ provides so much value and content, that I don’t believe that long lasting results can be achieved from individual styling sessions.
As a Style Coach™, I have been trained to advice people on how to enhance their unique figure so they can dress with confidence and style. I am well-versed in the essentials of the psychology of colours, style personality, wardrobe editing and personal shopping and am pleased to offer my services to the LGBT community.
In addition to my personal styling skills, I have also received training in communication and rapport skills, body language and non-verbal communication as well as a vast range of life coaching and NLP skills. This holistic combination of skills enables me to empower my clients, not only with style-confidence, but also with positive self-esteem that supports a healthy self-image. I believe that there is a critical connection between how we present ourselves on the outside and how we feel about ourselves on the inside.
Anyone can have an external makeover, however, very often people revert back to their old ways, because nothing has changed on the inside. Their views on themselves have remained the same.
I am passionate about clothing. I like to think outside the box, when it comes to styling and have a lot of fun with it. I am equally passionate about the impact fast fashion is having on our planet. Where ever possible, I like to include these ethics into my Style Coaching.
